Nobel Peace Prize 2006 awarded to Muhammad Yunus and micro-credit bank
The Bangladeshi economist Muhammad Yunus and the Grameen bank he founded, won the Nobel Peace Prize 2006 for pioneering the use of microcredit.
As NPM we see this award given to Mr. Yunus for his work as a great recognition of microcredit as a tool to fight poverty in the world.
