Activities

The activities of the Netherlands Platform for Microfinance are:

• Bi-annual meetings among the members.
• Maintenance of a comprehensive and actualised database on the Dutch microfinance offer. Part of the information will be made available to the wider public in line with the Mix Market, the global information service for the microfinance industry see for more information www.themix.org.
• Operation of a platform website.
• Joint effort to formulate commonly accepted social performance indicators.
• Organisation of joint activities in relation to the goals such as for example impact assessments
• Facilitation of the activities for the United Nations year of Microcredit 2005 in the Netherlands.
